Who We Are

GlobeCreditCards is operated by NorwegianSpark SA (org no: 834 984 172), a Norwegian company. Our contact email is thomaslien@norwegianspark.com.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate this website:

  • Newsletter signups: Email address and first name, stored and processed via Resend.
  • Contact form submissions: Name, email, subject, and message, sent via Resend to our team.
  • Analytics: usage data via Google Analytics 4 in Google Consent Mode, with IP anonymisation enabled. Until you click Accept on our cookie banner, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only cookieless measurements; analytics cookies are set only after you accept.
  • Cookies: analytics, affiliate and advertising cookies are used only after you click Accept, as described under "Cookies and Advertising" below.

Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process personal data based on consent (newsletter signups, analytics cookies and advertising cookies, which are used only after you click Accept) and legitimate interest (contact forms, and cookieless analytics measurement before you make a choice). Under Norwegian law (personopplysningsloven) and the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (Norwegian Data Protection Authority)

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the site:

  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Cloudflare (hosting and CDN)
  • Google Analytics 4 (analytics)
  • Google AdSense (advertising, once our application is approved)
  • Impact, Rakuten Advertising and Partnerize (affiliate networks)

Data Retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained for 12 months. Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account and is then deleted automatically.

Cookies and Advertising

When you first visit, a cookie banner asks you to accept cookies. Until you click Accept, this site stores no analytics, affiliate or advertising cookies on your device. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage for 12 months; to withdraw it, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.

  • Google Analytics 4: runs in Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage set to "denied" by default, so it is cookieless until you accept. After Accept, Google Analytics sets its analytics cookies to measure visits.
  • Affiliate tracking (Impact, Rakuten Advertising, Partnerize): after Accept, we load Impact's tracking script, which may set a cookie to credit a referral. When you click an affiliate link, you pass through the network's tracking domain, which may set its own cookies so that a sign-up or purchase can be credited to us.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense): we have applied to show ads served by Google AdSense. The AdSense code loads only after you click Accept.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
